COVID-19 Updates

The Education Secretary has confirmed that GCSEs and  A and AS Level exams will NOT go ahead this summer. He has also confirmed that they will use a form of teacher assessed grades and that these will be applied fairly and consistently and will be externally moderated. We don’t have any more detail on this at the moment but we will let you know as soon as we can.

For many students, who have worked so hard this year in challenging circumstances, we know this will be very difficult news to hear. It is vital that ALL students continue to keep studying to put themselves in the strongest position, whatever the final decision about exams. The school is here to support you and we will do everything we can to ensure you progress to the next stage of your education.

Please continue to check our website for further details. For pupils taking GCSE, AS and A Level exams this year, we will be in touch with you directly.
